Last Thursday, our 7th & 8th graders who reached their AR goals got a reward day! 🙌 They spent the morning doing whatever their hearts desired - playing football on the field, cornhole, volleyball, basketball, free phone time, and catching up with friends!

Yesterday, Mr. Leach's science classes braved the freezing weather to do egg drops off the roof of GMS 🏫 Students had limited supplies consisting of a plastic sack, straws, toilet paper roll, cotton balls, tape, string, rubber bands, and a plastic cup. Only a few eggs cracked, but a majority lived to see another day! 🍳

Congratulations to our GMS Student of the Week! 7th-grader, Riley Franche, is our winner. Mr. Bryan said, "Riley has been a TREMENDOUS help on the school bus. I had a kindergarten student who was having some behavior issues and I asked Riley if she would sit with the child. Riley has been sitting next to the kindergartener for two days and I haven't had any further issues. It really helps me out when the older kids step up and are leaders. I'm very appreciative of Riley!" Keep up the GREAT work! 👏
