Yesterday, our 7th graders went on their semester reward trip to Top Golf! ⛳
6th-grade PRIDE 🎉 Our last pride of the semester was a SPECIAL one 🧡 Mrs. Galloway's students played and sang Feliz Navidad, five LUCKY students got drawn to win $50...just cuz', and every single student got a sweet little debbies treat. Thank you 6th-grade teachers for going above and beyond to put smiles on our lion's faces before the holidays!
This Thursday Mrs. Galloway's Musical Theater students are doing 'Holiday One Acts' 🎭 You must reserve seats to attend. Contact Mrs. Galloway at rachel.galloway@gravetteschools.net to snag a seat!

Here is this month's Library Contest from Mr. Walker! Retell a Christmas Story. Type your story and submit it to the library. Must have at least 200 words - the more the better! The due date is Dec. 15th. Start with one of the following stories:

This past weekend, Gravette held their annual Christmas Parade and festivities! GMS's Eve Huckabee and Mrs. Galloway played and sang Christmas songs at the Kindley House. We ♥ seeing our lion family out in the community!

Congratulations to our GMS Student of the week! 7th grader, Greg Daniels, is our winner. Mrs. Herrlein said, “Greg has been working hard in class. I have him twice a day, and several times he has made me a better teacher with his great ideas. I have had a couple of conversations with other teachers who also talk about how great Greg is doing!” 🎉
Tomorrow starts our 12 days until the Winter break countdown 🎄 Wear your red and green tomorrow! We can't wait to see our lion's holiday spirit!
In Mrs. Bohannon and Ms. Archer’s classrooms , our 6th-graders are reading and analyzing “The Water Seeker”. Way to your critical thinking skills, lions! 📚
HAT DAY is this FRIDAY thanks to GMS PTO 🥳 If your child would like to wear a hat to school on Friday, have them bring $1 to the GMS PTO ladies that will be set up in the cafeteria that morning. Your child will receive a stamp on their hand and be set! If your child is in athletics in the morning, they can go to the cafeteria before 2nd hour and still pay to wear a hat 👍
