Community resource ❗ Don't miss out on TOMORROW's food pantry. UPDATED HOURS: 12pm-2pm and 3:30pm to 5pm at the Western Benton County Career Center. This is for any family that has students attending Gravette Schools. 🦁

As we come to the end of the school year, we have several students across the district that have outstanding lunch balances. Parents, please check your child's lunch balance here: https://www.ezschoolpay.com/Login.aspx
At each campus, we have a Care account where community members can donate money that will be applied to these unpaid lunch balances. It helps to reduce the debt to the student and family. There are several ways you can contribute if you feel led: cash & checks (make checks out to 'Gravette School Food Service" - drop all donations off at the school’s front office and mention it's for the care account) or get in touch with Food Service Director, Sheila, at 479-787-4100 ext. 1101.

ALL library books must be returned by Friday, May 19th. No books may be checked out. Thanks for understanding!

History Club got to go on a field trip to Pea Ridge National Military Park yesterday! Thanks, Coach Masters & Ms. Keen for making it so much fun!

Yesterday, Mr. Stamps' classes had a special guest come and join them! John Hart, a computer specialist from the Arkansas Co-op, gave our students the task of figuring out a circuit disk board. The students had to get certain lights to come on in a specific order and write down the exact steps. 7th grader, Ayla, said, "As frustrating as it was not having exact instructions to get all the lights to come on, it was fun thinking outside the box and racing against everyone else in the class!"

It was a hot one yesterday! The cross country team had their annual timed run and kicked off the 2023-2024 season. After the run, the athletes got to eat some watermelon and relax. That was some great running, lions! 👟

IMMUNIZATION REMINDER ❗ Students who will be age 11 on or before 9-1-23 are required to have a Tdap immunization. One dose of meningococcal vaccine is required for 7th grade. If a dose was give at age 11 they do not need another dose. Students who have an exemption for immunizations must apply this summer for a 2023-2024 school year exemption from the Arkansas Department of Health. This must be done every year. Please contact your child's school nurse for any questions!

Mrs. Galloway's GMS Musical Theater performed their High School Musical, Jr. play on May 5th and May 6th, to a full house both nights. The students were incredible! Congratulations on a stellar show!

Just a reminder! HAT DAY is TOMORROW thanks to GMS PTO 🥳 If your child would like to wear a hat to school on Friday, have them bring $1 to the GMS PTO ladies that will be set up in the cafeteria that morning. Your child will receive a stamp on their hand and be set! If your child is in athletics in the morning, they can go to the cafeteria before 2nd hour and still pay to wear a hat 👍
