🌟✨ Spreading Warmth and Joy! Kids 4 Kids Club is on a mission to make a difference in our community! Our amazing Kids 4 Kids Club members gathered together to create beautiful tie blankets with love and care. These cozy blankets will soon find their way to the Ronald McDonald Charity of NW Arkansas, bringing warmth and comfort to those who need it most.
🤝💖 In addition to crafting these heartwarming blankets, our compassionate kids also collected pop tabs! Every small tab makes a big impact, and together, we are contributing to the Ronald McDonald Charity's mission of supporting families and children facing health challenges. 🙌 We are so proud of our young philanthropists for their dedication and compassion. Through acts of kindness, they are making the world a brighter and warmer place. 🌍🌟
📸 Check out these snapshots of creativity and generosity in action! Let's inspire others to join us in spreading love and making a positive impact in our community.

Post 1 of 2! Yesterday, our GMS ukulele kids were busy! In honor of Mele Kalikimaka dress-up day, they did the following: 1. Played Mele Kalikimaka (the song) on our ukuleles. 2. Had small groups busk and sing in the hallways on some Christmas carols. 3. Took fun pictures by the Mele Kalikimaka choir room door. (Door designed and built by Laughter Galloway and Lexie Jarvis.) 🌺
Six talented students auditioned for the ASBOA Junior High All-Region Band and two were chosen overall. Congrats to all! 🎉

Don't miss out on today's Food Pantry! Please note, to qualify for the Gravette Bright Futures Food Pantry, the student (s) who attend our district MUST live directly in your home and you must be their sole guardian. Distribution is one per household. Unfortunately, there are not enough supplies to distribute goods to student's extended family members who live outside their homes such as aunts/uncles, grandparents, etc. The GOOD NEWS is that there is another local pantry, Outreach 58:10, that can help! Details are below. We thank you for understanding! 🧡
Did you know the Gravette School District has an Instagram? Pictures of ALL your favorite lions in one place! 🦁 Please go give us a follow so you can stay up to date with all that is happening across the district! ☺
📖 Here's another book recommendation from Mr. Walker! This book is in our Parent Center. Mr. Bennett has collected hundreds of stories in The Book of Virtues, an instructive and inspiring anthology that will help children understand and develop character -- and help adults teach them. From the Bible to American history, from Greek mythology to English poetry, from fairy tales to modern fiction, these stories are a rich mine of moral literacy, a reliable moral reference point that will help anchor our children and ourselves in our culture, our history, and our traditions -- the sources of the ideals by which we wish to live our lives. Complete with instructive introductions and notes, The Book of Virtues is a book the whole family can read and enjoy -- and learn from -- together. If you'd like to check out this book and others - click here to go to our GMS library page or visit our library today: https://www.gravetteschools.net/o/gms/page/library
Last night's band concert was spectacular! Students, you continue to blow us away every year! Also, let's show some love to our two directors, Mr. Ray & Mr. Hendricks, who provide the leadership and knowledge to guide these students to such success 👏👏👏
Mark your calendars ‼ On December 19th at the basketball games, our 7th grade Gifted & Talented students are hosting a "Holiday Market". They have been working on entrepreneurship and what that entails. Students will be selling mini foam fingers, sports stickers, bracelets, and SO much more! Consider coming out and supporting all the hard work these students put into this event. ☺
