BHS Alumni, Ian McDaniels, came back to visit with Mr. Simpson and Mr. Whiteside earlier this week! Ian said, "Looking back now, I appreciate all that the NWTI Secondary Career Center/WBCCC welding class taught me. It allowed me to have real expectations of what a welding shop would be like in the workforce." Ian is currently working for Simmons as a Maintenance Mechanic and making around $27 an hour. Whether our students graduate and go straight into the workforce like Ian or graduate and go to the collegiate level, we encourage students to be open to ALL options!
