"One School, One Book" - clue #3 🙊 Your last chance to guess before the reveal tomorrow!

"One School, One Book" - here is clue #2 🧐 We wonder what our lions will be reading!

Friday starts off "Read Across America" week and we will celebrate with all our lions reading the same book - "One School, One Book". What book will that be? We aren't saying just yet! 🤐 Mrs. Gripe is going to give a clue each day to see if anyone can guess it. Ask your child and see if you can guess it before the big reveal!

Reminder ‼ There will be no school this coming Monday, Feb. 20th in observance of President's Day. Enjoy the 3-day weekend! 🦁

The OM team is geared up and ready! ✅ They compete on Saturday, March 4th at the Don Tyson School of Innovation and are competing in the Division 1 category. Our students will be solving 'Problem 1', which involves making a self-propelled vehicle and a skit about pirate treasure. The OM team is comprised of Aubrey Bull, Penny Mangold, Vivi Whiteside, Daniel Franz, Jace Snyder, Talon Smith, and the cardboard pirate, Jefferson. You've got this, lions!

Just a reminder that next week is Parent Teacher Conferences! Please get with your child's teacher for specific times and further details.

Wow is all we can say 🧡 Thank you to the Bogle family for paying off ALL the student lunch debt - not only at Upper Elementary, but also at Duffy Elementary. Two. Entire. Schools = no meal debt. We can't even begin to express what this will mean for our families, but just know there has already been happy cheers/tears and lots of hugs. Thank you for being apart of our lion pride and helping ALL students succeed 🦁 #experincethepride

Tomorrow (Friday, February 3rd) will be another AMI day for students. Again, please look towards your child's teacher for further information. This is due to backroads and parking lots still being covered in ice (which will refreeze tonight) and therefore will be a huge safety risk. Our #1 priority is keeping all of our students and staff safe! Thank you for understanding!

Community resource ❗ Tomorrow's Food Pantry will still be happening, but there is only one pick-up time! Noon - 4pm. Please be careful if you plan to venture out. We know the roads are slick, but wanted this resource to be available for families who may need it 🧡 This is for any family that has students attending Gravette Schools. 🦁

Tomorrow (Thursday, February 2nd) will be another AMI day for students. Again, please look towards your child's teacher for further information.

Tomorrow is the first day our 'A la Cart' items will be available during lunches! 🤤 Please note: If you are worried about your child over spending or have any concerns at all, you are welcome to reach out to Food Service Manager, Wendy, at wendy.sanders@gravetteschools.net. She can flag your child's account so when they check out a message will appear with whatever wording you want on it. Ex: "No a la cart item - only meals", "Just 1 a la cart item per day", etc.
