Gravette Middle School students will participate in ATLAS Summative Testing this spring as part of the Arkansas Teaching and Learning Assessment System. This assessment, fully aligned with Arkansas standards, serves as a system-wide measure to help schools and districts tailor programs to student needs. Educators from across the state have played a key role in developing the test, and results will be available in the fall of 2025.
Under the Arkansas Educational Support and Accountability Systems (AESAS) Act 930 of 2017, all public school students in Arkansas are required to participate in statewide testing. It is not optional.

HOW PARENTS CAN HELP
Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep the night before testing.
Make sure your child eats breakfast on testing days.
Make sure your child is on time and goes to school on all testing days; they will be required to test even if they are absent.
Make sure your child does not have any out-of-school appointments on any of the days we are testing.
Make sure your child is here all day and does not get checked out early – they can take their time and don’t need to feel rushed.
