Student SHOUT OUT 📢 Congratulations to GHS Debate President, Zeke Surface, on getting the month of March recognized as "National Debate Month" in the state of Arkansas! Zeke reached out to local state representatives, made his case, and the resolution ended up being passed! Zeke was then invited to the State Capitol where he met Lieutenant Governor, Mr. Rutledge, and the Speaker of the House.
Congratulations to our GHS Student of the Week! Senior, Mizael Pedroza, is our winner. Mrs. Kildow said, "Mizael is a very hard worker and a great student. He is always polite and willing to help his peers when needed. He is a wonderful student to have in class!" Way to go, Mizael! 👏
GHS FBLA members traveled to Little Rock last week to compete in various events for the State Leadership Conference. Of the 25 students that competed, 7 made the stage and qualified for Nationals that will take place in Atlanta, Georgia. Another 7 students made the Top 10 in the state! This is a HUGE accomplishment for our FBLA program! Keep up the hard work, students 👏
