Ms. Lykins' Fashion and Interior Design students took a field trip today to Skyline's manufacturing warehouse. They learned about their Direct-to-Film Printer, sticker printing, and Screen printing. Students got to see how a design goes from an idea on the computer to a shirt. They even got first-hand experience in making their design come to life as a sticker!

Mrs. Jones said, "Kam is such a hard worker and is helpful and respectful; he always puts forth his best effort, and I appreciate how he cares about his education. Today, for example, he came back from being absent yesterday, and he immediately got right to work on the small group assignment we were focusing on. He noticed that one of his classmates didn't have anyone to work with him, and he volunteered to work with him so that he wouldn't be alone. This is the kind of behavior I love to see as a teacher; Kam made my day so much brighter and better by this act of kindness he showed his classmates." 👏

ALL 13 members of the boys wrestling team earned a medal and a place on the podium (finished 1st-4th place). These phenomenal athletes gave it their all yesterday and brought back the trophies to prove it. We are LION PRIDE!

Earlier this week, members from Charlie Craig State Fish Hatchery in Centerton presented to Coach Pittman's Outdoor Pursuits class. Students learned basic fishing knots, and then practiced casting! 🐟

To make up lost time due to the several inclement weather days we had last month, we will be adapting a new bell schedule that STARTS TOMORROW MONDAY, February 12th - Friday, March 8th (4 total weeks) called "Make-Up Month". Please refer to the schedule below for all four of our school's start and stop times. NOTE: During these four weeks, there will be NO EARLY OUT FRIDAYS and GMS/GHS will begin 5 minutes earlier. 🦁
Our Jr. High cheerleaders cheered our Jr. High Girls Basketball team to victory during an exciting 28-25 semi-final WIN against Prairie Grove in the district basketball tournament. Our Jr. High Girls Basketball team will face Shiloh Christian in the District Championship TODAY at 5:00PM at Gentry High School. Come and help us create a BIG CROWD to show our support for our Jr. High Lady Lions! 🦁
