Such an honor to celebrate with these amazing GDE students who received the October Superintendent's Reading Award! #experiencethepride

Thank you to our local Veterans and Police Chief, Skaggs, for coming to our Veterans Day Assembly! Also a huge thank you to our GMS Band and Choir students for providing your assistance! If you missed the live stream, we will be uploading it to the Gravette School District YouTube channel soon. This was our first time trying something like this, so we thank you for your patience and understanding with our live stream hiccups 🥰 Great job, lions!

On November 10th, at 1:15 p.m., parents and guardians are invited to join us online for the live stream of our Veteran's Day assembly. This assembly will include GDE and GUE. There will also be a guest speaker from our very own Gravette PD! Because of space constraints, we are not able to allow parents to attend in person this year. However, we will have a live stream available for anyone who would like to attend. Click here to watch: https://www.youtube.com/@gravetteyt2297

Ms. Betz and Ms. Carter took a few of our pre-k students on a leaf hunt yesterday! 🍂 After finding the most beautiful fall leaves, they had some fun in the sun and rolled down a few of our hills. ☺

Pre-K's Pumpkin Patch fun 🌽

In honor of Children's Picture Book Month kicking off tomorrow, we are encouraging our students and staff to dress up as their favorite book characters! We understand this falls on Halloween, but please do not dress your child in a Halloween costume. Thank you for understanding! ☺

Benton County Farm Bureau in connection with Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry donated enough Wild Game Western Snack Sticks (two to a pack) for each student in grades K-5 last Thursday! Thank you for your generous donation! 🧡

Attendance is a crucial aspect of a student's academic journey, and it cannot be stressed enough how important it is to attend school regularly! While some may argue that missing a few classes here and there doesn't make a significant difference, the truth is that attendance plays a vital role in a student's overall success and development! Take a look at how the numbers break down and how much instructional time your child may be missing.

GDE's book fair is this coming week! The book fair is Oct. 23 - 26. Students will visit during their classes' weekly library visits. It'll also be open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4-6pm during parent-teacher conferences. 📚
