Teacher of the Week

Glenn A. Duffy Elementary School’s very own HollyAnn Crawford was recently announced as KLRC’s “Teacher of the Week” on the KLRC Morning Show. Nominated by her student Carter Engle, Mrs. Crawford received praise for her commitment to fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment for both her students and their families.

In the nomination, Carter’s parents shared his heartfelt words: "Carter thinks Mrs. Crawford does a good job teaching. She teaches good things and good things to learn. She takes time to help us on our Chromebooks. He likes that Mrs. Crawford got to be his teacher. Carter is glad that he and his friends can always trust what Mrs. Crawford tells them to do." Carter’s parents echoed his sentiment, adding, “We appreciate her more than we could ever show her. She goes the extra mile to always keep the parents updated on what’s going on in the classroom. We have enjoyed watching Carter blossom under Mrs. Crawford’s guidance. He’s constantly coming home to show us what new things that he has learned from Mrs. Crawford. He’s excited to go to class every day! She’s made our first year easy!”

As KLRC’s “Teacher of the Week,” Mrs. Crawford received a $50 Visa gift card, sponsored by John Brown University’s Graduate Education program.
