Say hello to Dr. Barrett! Dr. Barrett has 24+ years experience in education. The first three years of her journey, she spent as a Special Education and 1st grade teacher in Cassville, Missouri. After Cassville, Dr. Barrett moved to Noel, Missouri where she spent the next ten years. Within that time, she taught 1st grade. Dr. Barrett wrapped up her time in Missouri in Anderson where she taught fourth grade for three years.

Currently, Dr. Barrett is in her ninth year as principal at Gravette Upper Elementary. She received a Bachelors of Science in Education from Missouri State University, a Masters in Education from Southwest Baptist University, a Specialist in Education Administration at William Woods University, and a Doctor of Education with a Specialization in Instructional Leadership at Northcentral University. Dr. Barrett is a member of the Scholastic National Principal's Advisory Board, Arkansas State Guiding Coalition, Arkansas State Playbook Special Education & 4th-Grade Team Facilitator, Trainer for Professional Learning Communities, and Missouri Southern State University Teacher Advisory Board.

Dr. Barrett is married to husband, Brandon, and they have three children - Blake (and his fiance Myka), Bailey, Bryer, and a beautiful grandbaby named Blayklie. In her spare time, Dr. Barrett loves to travel, kayak, and spend time with her family.
