School counselors help children in many ways:

  • Being student advocates

  • Promoting positive attitudes among students toward themselves, their family, their peers, and their community

  • Providing support during crises

  • Working collaboratively with parents, teachers, and the community to identify and remove barriers to learning

Our counselors work to support students socially and emotionally, academically, and with future career exploration. If there are any areas of concern that you have regarding your child’s school experience, please do not hesitate to contact or meet with your child's counselor.
